My house (in the middle of my street)

I’m fortunate to own this historic brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Here’s the vestibule, with its encaustic tile and quarter-sawn oak wainscoting.

Welcome to my home!

My former boyfriend (and General Contractor) designed the etched glass himself. Then the old-school Russian Jewish glassmakers at Williamsburg Glass made it to replace the scratched acrylic that dated from the rooming-house/ S.R.O. days.

It’s tiny, but I like to think people feel welcome when they step inside. It’s a taste of what’s to come…

When this site is up and running, I’ll have a virtual tour and some before-and-afters.”
